GGT Evaluator

Evaluate your GGT level across three health paradigms — a sensitive marker for oxidative stress, liver health, and cardiovascular risk

Metabolic Relevance
GGT is a sensitive marker of oxidative stress and liver function. Elevated levels often precede other liver enzyme elevations and can indicate metabolic dysfunction, fatty liver, or toxic burden.

Recommended testing frequency:
Annually together with ALT, or every 3 months if metabolic syndrome is present

Did you know?

GGT is involved in glutathione metabolism — your body's main antioxidant. Even within the "normal" range, higher GGT values are associated with increased cardiovascular risk and all-cause mortality.

GGT is extremely sensitive to alcohol consumption. Even moderate intake can elevate levels. It often rises earlier than other liver enzymes, making it an early warning sign.
