1Anonymous Use (No Account)
You can use Metabolicum's calculators without creating an account. When you do, we collect nothing.
100% Client-Side Processing
All calculations happen locally in your web browser using JavaScript. Your lab values (triglycerides, HDL, glucose, insulin, measurements) are processed on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
For anonymous users, we do NOT collect:
- Your lab values or body measurements
- Your calculation results
- Any personal health information
When you close or refresh the page, your entered values are gone. We never had them.
2Registered Accounts
When you create a free account, we store data to provide you with a personalized experience.
What we collect and store:

4What We Don't Do With Your Data
Regardless of your account type, we make firm commitments about how we handle your data:
Never Sell Your Data
Your health information is never sold to third parties. Period.
Never Share for Marketing
We don't share your data with advertisers or marketing companies.
Never Use for Profiling
We don't build advertising profiles or sell insights derived from your data.
Never Share Without Consent
Your personal and health data stays private unless you explicitly choose otherwise.
5Service Provider Recommendations
We may offer links to recommended health service providers (such as lab testing services, telehealth consultations, or wellness programs) that may be relevant based on your data.
Strictly Opt-In
This feature is entirely optional. Recommendations are only shown if you explicitly enable this feature in your account settings. You can disable it at any time.
How recommendations work:
- You must opt in to see any recommendations
- Recommendations are generated locally based on your results — we don't send your data to service providers
- If you click a recommendation link, you're leaving Metabolicum — review the provider's privacy policy
- We may receive a referral fee if you use a recommended service — this doesn't affect your pricing
6Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand general usage patterns. This helps us improve the site.
What we can see (aggregate only):
- Page views (aggregate counts)
- General geographic region (country-level)
- Device type (mobile vs. desktop)
- Referral sources
Analytics data is never linked to your health information or account data.

If you have a registered account, you have full control over your data:
Right to Access
View all your stored data in your account settings.
Right to Portability
Export your complete data as PDF or CSV anytime.
Right to Deletion
Delete your account and all associated data permanently.
Right to Correction
Update or correct any of your stored information.

Do Not Sell My Information: We don't sell your personal information. California residents can still submit a formal request to privacy@metabolicum.com for verification.
11Children's Privacy
Metabolicum is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.
12Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify registered users by email and update the "Last Updated" date. Our commitment to never selling your data won't change. Continued use of Metabolicum after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
